    Difference between 83-85 and 86-87 200x

    Hey can one of you guys give me the link to the post that says what all the difference are between the 85 and 86 im getting parts from each and want to see what i can do, thanks

    about the only parts that will interchange are the rear wheels, hubs, handlebars, handlebar levers and throttle and maybe the carborator.

    Hey well yeah im still interested, its just that i found a running 86 200x Thats in good shape for 500. so it may be a little longer untill i get those parts, but hell yeah i want em' lol dont worry i wont just desert ya man, and as for my 83-85 parts i should be getting, Im thinking about making an auto X i got a 200s motor, any one have any input on this? i know most say a real X is better i cant afford another motor once im done, ill be broke. lol Thanks alot though.

    An auto X sounds cool. About the only thing you may have to do is reroute the exhaust from what I've read.

    yeah its crazy to ship heavy stuff. My SX engine alone (no swinarm, chain, frame, ect..) was $100. Now the engine doesnt have a top end which makes it lighter but that is compensated by the frame. It should be around $110 to have it SHIPPED.

    i got a 83 200x here,connection rod bearing went in it, is a 200s/m crank the same i need to no... i just rebuilt my 200s motor and threw it in her fer a few days.. i want the 200x engien back lol
