    whats my 500r worth?

I am thinking of listing it on ebay the next time they have one of the $.50 listing days. I do not want to give it away so i am not listing it without a reserve. I can list it with a minimum starting bid on a .50 day and it is WAY cheaper. here is a list of parts.

87 cr500 engine. NEW topend and crank seals. runs great.
modified CR500 FMF pipe and silencer (not 250r stuff)
    uni air filter
    rebuilt front forks
steel braided front brake line and CR500 master cylinder
    NOS head light
    NOS front fender
    NOS shrouds
NEW 500r decals and frame decals
    +6" lonestar swinger
lonestar billet double wide bearing carrier
    new sunstar/rethenal sprockets 38/14
    new DID X ring chain
    all brakes work
frame painted dupoint dodge viper red
OEM seat with no tears (NICE)
    nice OEM rear fender
kicker works great and it will start in a couple kicks
    86 350x rear rims and 85 350c front rim
    flip up rear fender
    PRM rear grab bar
    lots of custom fab time!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i am sure i am forgetting something but that is most of it. i know what i have in it and i will not take less. it is worth more then that in parts. jsut looking for starting bid ideas. thanks!!!!!!!!!

check my sig for a quick pic

Why sell it? Why spend countless hours building a machine that you want only to sell it? It sounds like a nice bike. Something you would want to keep. I, personally don't care what my bikes are worth since I will never sell them. Way too much time, effort, and personal touches to sell them. I finally got each of them the way I like them. It sounds like yours is the same for you. Why waste the time and money only to sell if for less than it's worth to you? Just my 2 cents.

Well, then my guess is you will get $1500 or so on Ebay. Just a guess. You would get more if you parted it out.l

    ChrisD is right..
And if you built it for fun, keep it and ride it for fun. You don't have to sell it just because you can't reach the top speed. Half of the time I am riding my Z or R, I'm just putting around.. not going full out. Keep it. If you have the money to keep it, and you aren't selling it because you are in dire need of money, I would definately keep it. You'll regret it later!! And just think.. if you ever want another 500R, you'll have to build it because you can't buy them like that..

id hold onto it untill a real atc conneseur gets wind of it. on ebay they'l probly see it as just another implanted motor, but its argueably the quickest thing on wheels.

im sure some guys around here would be intrested in it.

After seeing a custom 250r at over $4000 on ebay, I would imagine that your 500r would go for more.

That bike is sweet, everything is clean and sleek on it, I dont think you would have any trouble getting the money you want for it.

Set the reserve high start the auction out low and sit back and see what happens..You can always lower the reserve 24 hours before the auction ends....if it doesnt hit reserve you could always second chance offer it.
Wikipedia "All Terrain Vehicle" Definition excerpt
Other smaller or lesser known companies, such as Tiger ATV, Franks, and Cagiva, produced racing three wheelers, but in much smaller numbers. Few of these machines are known to exist today and are highly sought by collectors.
