    Help My 86 250r

    i know i have asked this question time and time again? why does the tank bubble up everytime u paint it? this time i had a professional paint it, he sanded it, plastic primer was used, and a some coats of paint, and a clear coat? what causes it?[/b]

    ...

    its very simple...gas fumes...gas fumes evaporate through the plastc and then eat the paint. add that to the fact plastic is the hardest to get paint to stick to and you end up having a ugly painted tank

    ok

    i understand that but is there anyway to get so were as no fumes would eat the paint away?

    maybe that cream coat for leaking metal tanks??????
