    finishing the 500r project

    well it's done,and ridable.very minor things left to do.front brakes,and silicone the exhaust flange.i rode it around today.my god is it snappy.LOTS of tourqe,but falls down up top.i am sure thats because of the pipe.but for what i am gonna do.........perfect.this thing is just siick to ride.still scoots pretty good too,not quite as powerful as i expected,but it's alot faster then a 250r.well thanks for following the build,i'll use this thread for the break down,and rebuild.heres some pics as she sits right now.

    Great looking ride man. I still can't believe I sold my cr500 motor, oh well, desperate times call for desparate measures. Good luck witht the rest of it.

    well i better.only thing left after this would be to weazel you out of that 440 powered ride!!lol.i really appreciate the work you did jason.i can chang ethe plug with out even unbolting the tank!everything is like a factory fit.

    it turned out great. if i didnt know it by looking closely, it still looks like a 250 engine in there. i would leave the 500r stickers off it for a sleeper out on the trail then when they try to run it, BAM, gone, see ya!"its just a little 250r"!

    i can't make the valley buddy.maybe next weekend.we still going parts huntin in the junk yard next weekend?hollar at me,i'll bring the new beater up!

    it's not bad with the stock length swinger.wheelies really easy,but it.s not outta control.now it still needs jetted,but is really close.it's nice and clean,real crisp,but falls down up top.mainly because of the pipe.i think i'll stretch it eventually,but for now.......braaappppppp
