Ive looked everywhere for the KX caliper, none over here in Australia or ebay etc, i just want brakes, can modify to some degree if necessary. I found a yfm660 caliper that is quite similar to the 200x caliper but the banjo is in a different spot, has anyone tried this mod, i just want brakes LOL
Caliper interchange with some rear brake master cylinder interchanges as well

im thinking i might get a pair of TRX400EX 300EX 250EX caliper set, they look near the same, i will have to make a new mounting bracket, i may be able to use either depending how the modified bracket is made. but they seem the right caliper, anyone tried this, ....all advice welcomed?

83-84 250r front caliper line and master cylinder were the same as 83-87 200x. Forks are same as far as mounting holes. 83-84 250r rim is same as 83-85 200x just onea gols. Same as front hub and front axle. This is why to do a fork swap not much is needed other then forks and bored tripples or tripples and a 200x stem inserted into 250r tripples.

Trx300ex 400ex 250ex/x all have same calipers. None are a bolt on to the 200x however anything can be made to work with fab. Follow the chart and just use what bolts on so the next sucker is not stuck doing the same thing.

    Bump TTT,

I recently purchased a couple of 1985 ATC’s (250SX & 200X). And was in the middle of looking for a kit for the rear caliper on the 200X but now will be looking for a CR 80 caliper as the original 200X caliper is in rough shape. THANKS!
