well while on my way up to the MSU spring game i stopped to get gas and seen a harley parked beside me and noticed that the newer harley's have inverted forks. so i ponderd awhile and the space between the forks is just about perfect for a trike tire this is the complete setup that you can insted of paying $400 for the clamps you take that $400 and buy the whole setup take a look.

I've actually looked into this from several Harley and Honda road bikes. A lot of them come close but none are perfect. And I think you'll find you'll spend another couple hundred getting those forks off road worthy, if it can be done at all.
