    $150 formula plus find

Well, as some of you may know I have a 1983 Blizzard 9700, and I found out the crankcase was broken, so I put an ad up looking for an engine, or crankcase, well a guy emailed me about an engine he had for $150, it needed a new piston though, so I thought it was a good deal, then he said there was a parts sled that was complete, and here it is, got a complete sled for $150, but needs piston for engine, maybe new crankshaft bearings, and handle bars are bent. But what I plan to do is to take the crankcase of formula engine, put it on my 9700 engine, then combine the rest of the parts, put them togther, shove that in the formula and sell it as a parts sled, that will hopefully runs and drive. Here are some pictures, and a picture of the 9700 engine with the broken crankcase.

I honestly dont know, went to buy it, and he said that it ran, so I was happy to buy a running sled for $400, then when I get it home I remove a piece of rubber he had covering the broken crankcase and found it to be like that.

Will it still run like that? It looks like it's just broken where the pullstart bolts on.

Yea, it still runs like that but gas manage's to get out of there so it is burning and wasting alot of gas so I thought I would fix it, and make the 9700 and nice rare sled.

Hm. Yeah go for it. Will the cylinders match up to the crankcase? Seems like you're doing some hybrid work.

Yea, cylinders match up and everything, from what I have heard and reasearched they are exactly the same engines exept for the fact that the rotary valves are different and that they are timed different.
