Hi Guys
I don't know where riverrat is, but I can chime in here. The town is Greenwood Lake NY, 10925. I can put a couple people up at my place there. I'm sure that there are others around that can accomodate people also.
You can go to www.greenwoodlake.org for more information. There are hotels in town, but you will want to reserve spaces ASAP. The weekend that has been suggested is during the Winter Carnival and is a lot of fun. There is a ton of people, fireworks, races, events, etc. Also plenty of riding.
Please PM me if I can answer any questions.
If you stay out of town, there is not a problem with registrations. I only got my bikes registered last year and no one ever checked even when I was in town. I didn't even have my license plate on the bike.
There is usually only one "Quad-Nazi" as we call him and he was riding a 4x4. If you see him coming your way, you just drive in a different direction.
We race at Castle Tavern most of the time, and the police never go there.
Does the Castle Tavern serve appletini's?
Sounds like a good time & Real close to where I grew up.

where bouts is this lake? i know the winter carnival in lake george is in feburary as well, and always a good ttime up there. plenty of parking and as long as your respectful, the dec doesnt bother you even when your on the raods. plus plenty of places to eat, get hotel rooms, and plenty of bars for after riding.
