Recieved my brand new OMF skidplate in the mail today from Bones @ OMF. These guys are top notch people to deal with. I knew from the second that I spoke with them that I had nothing to worry about. The plate took a few weeks to make. As they do not carry these in stock. It had to be cut, bent up and welded. I am VERY pleased with its look and quality. The welding on it is beautiful.
Installation was a snap! OMF provided all the necessary hardware to bolt it right up. It took about 10 minutes to bolt up. No cutting,grinding,filing,tweaking or bending required. No bullchit at all. Bolt up and your done. Just the way it should be. If you guys are considering purchasing one of these for your Z your crazy if you don't. These things are well worth the cash.

jeff, how much clearance do you have under the sprocket? my chain/sprocket rubs...but its been through a bunch of rocks too...

is that at the tightest position for the chain? I remember going up a tooth on the front sprocket and having some minor issues. I think the tighter the chain, the less clearance. Its must be nice to have nice new parts. I kick the *Edited**Edited**Edited**Edited* outta mine and i just call the rubbing an extra chain tensioner

Mike I truly wont know until the motor is in and the new chain and front is fit. I plan on starting with a 14-40 ratio. Thats a NOS 40 tooth in the rear right now. Thanks for the heads up Mike I appreciate that!! . Im sure the boys @ OMF would be glad to rework it if I was unhappy. They seem the really go the extra mile.

It is currently awaiting an engine. Which is being built. It will not be disapointing. I will be scared to ride it. HAHAHA.
