    My New 125cc Thumpster Conversion

Well people as i was saying in my last thread (laydown 250r thread) i was goin to be starting a new project well here she is.Not to bad i reckon, its coming along pretty good considering thats only 1 days work lol today ill be starting on the front end getting rid of that moto front wheel i really wanna put a raptor front wheel on it to give it the bigger skininer look but finding a hub is giving me dramas so i think im just gunna go with a 70 front wheel. the swingarm still needs to be finished.i actually rode it up the good ol test footpath god it was funny with that front wheel on it lol oh well here she is ill be sure to get some more pics of progress any ideas on seats and fairings or any other ideas would be good as i dont knw if i wanna use the 70 trike guard or just leave the bike guards on it wasnt sure if i shouldve put this thread in here or not if its meant to be in the other one please move for me thanx

I hope this does not come out wrong...

Why do you focus so much on the smaller machines? With your skill I bet you could do some things most have only dreamed of with the full sized trikes.

mart you do one hell of a nice job. i love your work. now im thinking you, ronnie, dale and assuie should hook up and start building these things. between you guys you could build the best looking and performing trikes.
down to parts because i no longer have a place to ride trikes.

    GIT IT RAAAGGGGG !!!!

Nice work, I love reading your threads. I wish I had the time, and the facilities to do more stuff like that.

Pardon me for asking, but what is a 125cc thumpster?
Is that just a cheap 125cc dirt bike?

cheers for the compliments fellas, yep sure is a one of them cheap mini dirtbikes it has the lifan engine in it.dunno how it will last but im sure i could always whipp up another laydown engine hhhhmmmmmmmmmmmm so many ideas cr80 laydown maybe would be good lol nah this will do for now.in this set of photos is wat i was busy doing today and the next set of it on the footpath i need all of your opinions im not sure if i want it with a 70 guard (would have to make a new subframe) so it would sit lower or with full bike guards and make footwells or just the seat i reckon looks pretty sick wat do yas reckon? open to all suggestions

I think a CR80 laydown will be the SICKEST SHITE EVER. DO IT. Then, set your kids (if you have any) on it and watch them whoop up on anyone who wants to race!

I like it rear fenders on it. Are you using CR80 forks with that 200x tripple? I was looking at doing the same to a stock 70 frame for a friend of mine. He really wants frt suspension and I have a busted 200x so we were thinking of that route. Yours is looking great. You all must have a lot of time to kill down there. lol

I think a 70 tank would be pretty ugly. It would change the newer look to it. And I dont think it would work on that frame. Thoes pitbike tanks are small.
