    Info please !!!

One class of trikes? 2 moto format? Flag (board) start? How many laps and rough total time per moto? Photos shown some areas of one groove track. Was there plenty of passing areas?
Just putting feelers out for a possible 450 mile one way visit next year! That's if my 49 year old bones let me.

1st off - your 49 year old bones can do this for sure - easier than Trikefest MX - but it does take a little more endurance......here's the skinny:

Classes depends on number of trikes that show up - over 14 (I think) is 2 classes - under is one big class.

    1 heat - 1 moto -

    starting gate = SWEET!

3 laps per heat / 3 laps per moto - approx 2.5 minutes per lap - there is lots of passing zones - turns and small jumps are the best places to pass.

450 miles is a long haul - but it is my most favorite race of the season!

Here are a couple more pictures. I have some pretty good vids but my computer is giving me fits. I'm having problems uploading photos so I'm going to try to get my computer working properly before I try uploading the vids.

Well i have to admit, that this was once again, one of the most fun times i've ever had on a 3wheeler. It's an unexplainable feeling when a group of hard core trikers can actually race at a motocross faculity with all of the bikes and quads, and be given our own class! And on top of that, we were the center of attention when it was time to race. I felt that there was lots of genuine respect from the spectators, for all of us, who participated in the race. And what a race it was. I was a bit nervous, and rode for fun. But i loved hearing the pre race smack talk! In the end, Jason proved he was the man to beat, but i know Derrick made him earn it. To anyone thinking about making it out to the biggest 3wheeler race in the country next labor day, start making plans now. Because you will be part of making history! For me, 340 miles is well worth the feeling i get, knowing that we have showed hundreds of people that 3wheelers are still alive and well, and still worthy of friendly competition. To my knowledge, this sort of event is unheard of anywhere else in the country, so join in on the fun. Could you imagine having a major magazine present for this event! I could. This would put O-H-I-O on the map forever!

Best thing I find about racing with all of us 3wheeler guys is, we all care about each other and there machines. Were not out there to run each other over, out to have a total blast and place a little smack talk lmao

me and TimSr, I tell ya ive never laughed harder on the line than with that guy.

    "your going down punk!"
On the memories, now if you can only make it stick there Timmy! bahah

OLD179, they run 2 motos with your scores combined for your final position. Not like TF, where the first race doesnt matter. After watching you run at TF this year, Smith Road would be a cake walk!

It should be mentioned that we were approached by an old "National ATC racer" this year at the races. He was a real cool guy. Didn't catch his name though. He knew all the guys from back in the day and still had some of his old trike parts laying around. Hopefully we see him back on a trike next year!

It was super cool talking to the trike racer from back In the day. He was really suprised to see we were out their rippin on 3 wheel's. It sounded like he was really Into It back then.

The smack talking was the funnest part, everone did a little of It. I had a great time racin all the guys & talking to everyone again. The track was really awesome for the second moto. The first one was kinda freaky, especially when they tilled up the back 40 while we were racing.

It was nice meeting & talking to 1upfront & his dad. They are real nice guys. Nice video & pic's, hope you can post up more. Ed Is also a great guy. We had a good old time flappin about cars & 3 wheelers. Atctim seemed to have a good time, also thanks to shelly for taking some pictures on my camera. Thanks to Rick & Dawn for the Mac tents for shade & the chairs

I would also like to thank Derrick for being his normal great self. We had a blast racing each other. Kintore & garageboy are also some fierce racers. Garagboy Is soo damn funny & Is the holeshot master at smith RD. Every time I see a picture of the starting gate after It has dropped, everyone else has their front wheel off the concrete launch pad & garagboy Is a full bike length off the pad. We got together In one of the back turns & he was screaming at me while we were beatin the wheels off our bikes. Thanks OTC this was a race I will never forget

Be cautious Derrick. I was standig next to that guy when he was talking to his buddy about (us 3 wheeler guys as he put it). Overheard his conversation he had about you and Jasopn and Ed. Sounded like he was gonna try to make a mint off the parts he had cause he said "those guys pay premium for this stuff, they're just happy to get their hands on oem". He kinda sounded like a dick to me. He did'nt know I was one of the trike guys.

Thats really freaking sad Rick. :-( It really sucks that some people are like that. Hopefully what you heard was out of context, but I doubt it. Why do so many people have to be greedy? :-(

Not out of context. I heard the whole conversation. Felt like calling him out on it but I figured I'd just give you guys a heads up instead. Lowball his ass.

Hey guys - this was defiantly one to remember - yeah - the starting line banter between Kintore and TimSr was especially amusing to me - Kintore with the old "knife to the throat" gesture - the TimSr with the on-going comments - really took alot of the pressure off. To Garageboy - you are one fast guy - whether it be on a quad - a trike - or a bike - you really are the holeshot king ans a great rider, not to mention one hell of a great guy. To Derrick - you are the man - great skills on three wheels - us big guy us gotta stick together when competing against the lesser of gravitational pull folks. To Jason - you are not only the King of Customs - but are also the king of the track - it is always a blast hanging out with you. Kintore - the battling we did in moto 1 was just too much fun - something about going back and forth and making all that contact all while cornering on 3 wheels. Can't wait to race you more. TimSr - he is the fastest old guy I know and a great all around guy. Rammin Rich was too fast for me to get by in moto2 - I was on his tail the whole race but just did not have what it took to get around him. To Flyin Brian - Awesome riding - cool new trike - but you should either switch back to Team Red - or get a whole lot of time in Garage Boys garage - always a pleasure to see you nonetheless - you are a blast to ride and chat with. To Rick - Mr Seadoo - we always have a blast together - and on the track is no different. You have my favorite 250R on the site and ride it like it was meant to be. To Ed - it was super cool to meet you. Too bad we have never met up at TF - you know we will hang out this year though. Your Tecate not only is pretty as hell - but that thing has such a good sound to it. In the video - it is really a cool sound as you round that 180 degree turn and give her the beans. To TimJr - you have so much potential - out there with the best of the best and hanging in there. Give this kid a few years and we'll be chasing him down. His rinding style is that of his own and will be a threat to us veteran riders very soon.

Great times - Special thanks to the OTC for everyting they do!

Daddio and 1upfront - hope to see you guys at the drag strip sometime soon - was great to meet you guys - you are a couple of cool cats. Great to meet you!
RIP - Yamahondaman!! You will never be forgotten!
