    Exclamation quick Q!!!warrior clutch!!and moto4 225 wiriing!

    is the clutch basket nut right hand or left hand thread?? man this one im working on is a beast!!


    ok on a old moto4 225 dosnt have a key what wires should I cross to run?

    clutch should be right hand thread

    we had a 255dx new and we would ether just unplug the key and start it or plug the 2 key wires together.......84 was a long time ago, hard to remember....lol
    80s......185 atc, Yamaha tri-moto 200, 85 200x with tons of work
    90s......89 Suzuki quad racer 250 (raced 250 A class for 6 years, late 90s.. custom framed 250x with long travel shocks and a built 350x motor.... built Honda 110
    00s...... chomeoly framed 350 RX with all the goodies (thanks to my bro)
    2012.....Replaced the 350x motor for a 444cc YZ426

    ok I did the clutch on the warrior now my second problem is that the clutch cable pulled all the way in and wont release back? whats the deal with that?


    and the 225 has like 4 wires running to the key switch

    whats the pinion release gear look like? on the shaft that goes through the cover..

    man wtf...... it wasnt any of those things, you wouldnt believe it if I told you, but the clutch cable froze! all the way engeged! wtf? I took it off and cant even move it with it in a vise and some pleirs hooked to it!! man.....

    like i said 84 was a long time ago.... unplug the key wires and see if it has spark

    if not then plug them into each other and chech again for spark

    i was 11 years old in 84 and i figured out how to ride when dad hide the key...... i think you can too....lol

    your such a tool... good thing you didnt tare the motor down and then find it .... I figured you had allready checked the cable

    the cable was working fine before! the kid rode the atv to my house and has been riding it around! Yes I did take the clutch cover back off but thats no big deal, but damn! I have never had a clutch cable freez up like that! I mean it WONT BUGE NADA!

    ok ok so I go the cable unfroze and have some penetrating oil going through it over night to free it up and make it move good, another question like the tool I am, do the bolts that hold the spring plate get tightend all the way to they stop?? I did that but the springs are almost closed all the way, is that correct???

    on the 225 the red and brown wires gets jumped. I have two of these.Ones missing the key so i had to do the same.Im also ihave the same prob with the clutch cables on mine
