    Yep, you can get the billet cover in just plain machined look. Looks like most people want the quick change cover set up. Also you can pay using moneyorder.

    I'm not sure if these ever made it off the ground since this was back in 08? If they were made, I've never seen one. Someone better figure something out though, because it seems every bike that comes up for-sale either needs a cover or has had the original one welded up. It's the Achilles heel of the Z besides the wasted foot peg bolt holes.

    If you can buy a good condition Tri-Z for 400 do it. You will find a good used cover. They went up in price right when they were discontinued, but have since come back down. If you pay attention you will find one decently priced. And by decently priced I mean $100-150.

    Not getting produced was more to do with working out the casting bugs, then lack of interest. I think at some point he will go after this project. He knows he can sell however many he makes.
