    Ever reuse a piston?

I blew up the tecate and really cant afford to get a piston rings and a new sleve.
So I want to reuse the blown piston. It is just lightly scuffed just to the point the rings stuck.

if your cylinder isnt scarred you dont need a sleeve, just a piston kit, but I wouldnt reuse the piston if the rings got stuck, it did start to melt. chances are if you clean it up and put it back in it WILL run BUT not for long and it will probably tear up the cylinder when it comes apart.......... check out your cylinder even if it has a little aluminum on it, you can still save it with a good honing as long as the NiCaSil plating is OK it will be fine...
