Its probably a Kawasaki Tecate. The Tecate was the 3 wheeler. They were made in 84,85,86 and I believe 87. There is no such thing as a ducati kawasaki.
same here, have had that happen many times at the dealerships. ask the young guy behind the counter about this part or that part, they look at you like a your an idiot and the usual reply i get is a chuckle then they say, um, kawasaki doesnt make a ducati. then i usually go by year and model... 85 or 86 kxt250 a1or b1. heres a few pics of mine, the first is my 85... the second is my 86. notice the ground up redesign between the two models. sweet , fast, and tons of punch.

Its a Tecate. I would tell my friends in highschool about my Tecate and days later people would come back to me asking about my Ducati.

Before I found this website I wouldn't of knew either. And as far as seeing one, pics is the closest I came too one. Much the same as the rest. I have seen two liquid cooled R's. One in Newfoundland in a truck driving by and one here in Fort Mcmurray in a pickup driving by. A Tri-z I have only seen pics too. The 200x I got is the only one I have ever seen. As for Big Reds and the rest of the 4 strokes, you can turn over a rock and see them home. Now I believe I seen some of these bikes when I was younger and didnt know what they were.
