***READ*** if you will be going to TF 08

    Hello -

If you are reading this then it is obvious you are coming to Trikefest this year. This will be my 4th year coming to Trikefest. It is a great time and I would like to enjoy TF for years to come. For this to happen - we need to follow the rules laid out by Haspin Acres - and Owner - Pete.

I must really stress one rule to all who plan on attending. WEAR YOUR HELMET!!!!!!!!!!

every year people do not wear there helmets and we have to hear about it. I know Pete has pulled me aside at least once every year for the past three years telling me to let people know to wear their helmets. Frankly - I am sick of hearing about it. It is not that hard and it is their rule - DO IT. Strap it on before you throw a leg over your ride. Even if you are just riding camp to camp. Even if you will slowly be riding to the bathrooms or the porta-potty - WEAR YOUR DANG HELMET. I know Howdy and I am sure Billy have gotten an ear-full as well.

Please - it is for your own good - but more importantly - it is for insurance purposes and that trickles down to the fact that it keeps the park open.

WEAR YOUR HELMET WHILE ON YOUR MACHINE THIS YEAR AT TF!!!!!!

For people who dont like to wear the helmets all over the park go buy yourself a skull cap. They are cheap enough to buy even if you only wear at TF. Very simple rule to follow.

Yeah I can't stress this enough, please wear a helmet. And no fireworks. I have a feeling that security/rangers at Haspin will be a lot more present this year then the ones past and they wont be near as lenient as they have been.

A skull cap is the helmets you see the harley guys wearing. No full face it just protects the skull

Fireworks have been a TF tradition, has anyone ever contacted the fire department to see if a permit is obtainable?

You have to have property owners permission before applying for a pemit. Haspin Security told us last year "No more fireworks". Security follows the guidelines of the owner(s).
