From what I understand they will only they require you order so many. The 81-84 250r is also obsolete and no body makes baskets for them including honda.

    thanks

just did a search with no luck...do you have a site for them?

I had to have a NEW clutch to hold up to the abuse of launching and I know how obsolete these things are so I got to thinking and I know theres alot of guys still racing the 78-80 cr's in vintage mx and the 250's share the same clutch as the 81-84 ATC 250r so I thought I'd start looking for the cr and I might have better luck well I found this on ebay UK for 145 pounds kind of allot but I need it.

Here is a link. http://www.grampianmotors.co.uk/ It appears to be a uk company that has them made by this company, I believe they are Chinese.

Very nice!!! Now we need a billet basket for the 84-85 T3. Which is of course the same as the 83-84 kx250, and probably more. The only problem for cross referencing is the gear itself is different from bike to trike, and may cause some confusion. But......... the basket is the same. I need some billet! These 25 year old groved and cheaply cast things are like time bombs waiting to explode. When power levels rise, and traction is prime, yep big trouble.
