New toy! Zinger

Drove a 149 miles to pick up the newest addition and another 149 home. Anybody know the history of this particular Zing? I'm guessing the front fender is off a PW or something. It's in good shape and everything seems to work.

That's a pretty clean looking zinger. Yeah, those zinger front fenders are impossible to find. Pretty impossible to find the front fork springs assemblies too so take care of what you have. If you find either as new parts, but all you can and cut the rest of us in on the bounty. Will you be hopping it up any? If so, you will be looking for the dg nationals pipe and the heavier springs for the clutches. You won't be able to add a bigger carb without modifying the intake and also you should look into modifying for bigger reeds. The zingers are quite fun and are suprisingly fast. There are more mods, but you are talking alot of hard work, like changing the rear gear out with a yamaha moped gear which is involved but really wakes up the zinger. Have fun. They should have a zinger class at trikefest.

Nice and clean, I just missed out on a light blue one in Astabulla Ohio for $225 in about the same condition except it had org. plastic front finder. Good score!

I won't be modding this one anytime soon even thought I'm itching to. My nephew is three and needs to grow into this one for now. I just have to put a bolt in for the governor and it set. Go with the stock Dunlops for tires. All the other tires for 6" rims are quite a bit shorter than the stockers. Last set of 3 I got off Ebay went for right around $100 for all 3 shipped to my door.

Do you have the emergency cut off tether for it yet? You can still get them at the dealer. You follow behind the you rider with one end of the tether in the cut off switch and you hold onto the other end and if you see the rider getting into to trouble, you just yank the tether and it pops out of the emergency switch cutting off the trike.

Thanks I'll have to check into that there is nothing there and my boss needs a tether for a 4-zinger he got. It's missing the cord. Mine has nothing there what so ever.

Anybody know if they make a PW 50 or 80 front fender in yellow? this one is white with yellow paint chipping off.
