    1985? Yamaha SS440

    Just got this sled today, needs some TLC, windsheild, track, seat cover, carb clean, new gas, and the ski's need some welding done. But it runs, the previous owner only rode it a handfull of times on the new topend.

    i had a 85 for my first sled it was silver and black i thought that thing was so fast when i was little the are pretty peppy thow

    This sleds not a big worry at the moment, I got my XCR 600 that needs a rebuild, and its gonna cost me upwards of 700$, so thats gonna get done first.

    cool sled.I had a 82 ss440 that I drove for 5 winters back in the 80s.great donut sled,ran about 80 and was very dependable.I miss snowmobiling so much.

    1st sled I ever skied behind...my buddies Dad had one back in the day silver and blue...I remember it being pretty fast and it had an adjustable handlebar setup.
