Didn't do anything to the X today, but, over the weekend I put over a hundred miles on her out on Hatfields' Buffalo Mountain trail system. Did much more then that back in May on the Bear Wallow system. Really need to invest in a desert seat.

Teaching quads a lesson
Put new rear bearings and seals in the Tri-x-Side. Are those dual bearings ever a beotch! Needing a right hand hub and she'll be good as new. The old one still works just a bit sloppy.

Put a new grab bar on my 200x. Also rebuilt the carb, and tuned it so the dang thing actually runs. Still got just got a little bit of fine tuning to go so it will idle normal. Likes the idle higher, and if not,it wants to die. Air screw adjustments here I come!

Yesterday, I finally came up with a seal for the snorkel tube to the frame's "backbone" tube. Never had one the whole year+ my 350X has been together. Rummaging through my boxes of spare parts, I came across a snorkel tube for the first generation TRX300FW. It's frame is pretty much that of a trike's with two wheels up front, thus, the snorkel tube mounts in the same manner as the 350X. And, don't you know, the damn seal from that was a perfect fit! A bit tight, but, now it's sealed. Too bad it, like the 350X's seal, is not available from Honda. Not even a part number!

@RapidRick - Nice little family you got there, your 185s brings back so many memories from when i raced one like it.
My trike day involved cleaning old grip glue and crud off my Rotax's gunnar gasser throttle. Gonna replace a few of the internal parts of the throttle but keep the original housing. Speed&Sport sells genuine gunnar gassers so getting one as a donor.
Was very pleased to find K&N still makes the air filter we used for its weird side mounted carb and that i ordered the correct one on the first try.
Replacing some of the rubber stuff that has started to go bad and i am trying to use all period correct stuff so finding little scraps of radiator hose and bits like fender washers off 83 CR250s and ATC250s is proving a chore.
Getting ready to remove the front forks and gonna send them and the shock off to get serviced and have the forks stripped down to all silver and the rear shock spring repainted Ohlins yellow (no idea why its paint came off, i suspect my Dad and his love of Dot 5 brake fluid was the cause).

Treated my BR to a new gel battery and a solar trickle charger with a cigarette lighter plug so I can just plug in when parked. It rewarded me by spluttering to a stop about 1/2 mile out and having to be pushed home!

Nice R's King. I've got to get up to the FSJ area some day. Trying to convince the other half for us to join one of the vintage military vehicle convoys that travel through your area on the way to Alaska. I have a friend who lives there too!
