    350x carb upgrades?

So,.. what works on the 350x for a upgraded carb? 450r? 400ex? I want something that is better overall, not just for high end power. I still want to have a good trail trike. Anything i should stay away from?

no, 37mm fcr, once you get one you'll never look back. That's after the 400ex and 450r carb...

Nos-350x was right concerning this. They are the best.

Ive ran all that are mentioned.

The 04/5 TRX450 carbs are WAY too much for our little 350 engines.

The 400ex is a good new replacement for the 350x carb, They work good, and all the adjusments are new. So it tunes easy, and is easy to work with.

If you got the money go with a carb off of the 250Fourstroke MX dirbike. That is a PERFECT carb for our engine. 37MM or 38 FCR carb is the grand daddy of carbs for the 350x. the 39 and 41's are too much for the enigne.

I will say that the 04/05 carb makes the bike downright explosive...you have zero torque one second and the next hang on for dear life.

poo on that.... 37mm all the way.... run you anywhere up to 180...and worth every penny.

I ve used a stock 350x thumb throttle with a 06trx450 cable, (the other inlet on the carb for the push pull system just put some sylicone stuff over it)

They make a nice fuel resistant sealer. Haven't done it yet, still constructing.

I have a 38mm Keihin PE on mine. I ordered it years ago from Duncan Racing. They got the jetting pretty close out of the box and will ship you a jet/needle kit with it.

those are what we always ran and still run on our small 350x motors......IMO thats a great carb for a stock to mild 350x.

now with the crf carbs, they are great as well but for decades the old PE 38 was the best.

Tri-z none will touch fuel. This is just in the throttle cable linkage area. Since the carb has a 2 cable push/pull twist throttle system.

Carb buyers guide i put up on .org.
