Cool thread. to the boards. Can't wait to hear some of your stories. BTW I have a phasefive silencer on my 85 250R. I also have a 200x with alot of ole school goodies on it. Circle industries aluminum rear sprocket, Cal-fab swinger, some sort of billet intake (not sure of mfg.) for a larger carb. Any info on these items would be helpful. Goodluck finding what you're looking for. And if you find any post some pics.

A lot of those bikes claimed to be crushed - never made it to the crusher. You'd be surprised what's out there. We've found lots of works Honda RC motocrossers also. Back to ATCs, remember when the 200x came out, I think we sold around 1,000 or more pipes for those if I remember right. What a great machine to make parts for. Master cylinder guards, low profile rear fenders, louvered front fenders, man, its all coming back to me, hahaha

i bought a bunch off 83-85 200x parts from a guy and he had a real nice seat with one of your Phase Five seat covers on it. that would be cool to put on one of the old factory racer 200x's if you find one.

Those billet manifolds were made by Mikuni, Sudco, the Mikuni dist. sold those. Here's a scan of an add we did in 86, with 83 Playboy Playmate of the year, marianne Gravette. She was hot. Drove a red vette, and charged about $150. an hour, that was a lot back in 86! Answer Products was making our gear at the time.

Here also is a new product release we did around 85 I think. Cal-Fab made our swingarms. Cal-fab was formerly Pro-Fab, they made all of the early 70's DG performance Honda XR75 Monoshock frames and aluminum swingarms.

    Phase Five Seats

Those were called safety seats, they had the foam molded to lay ontop the tank. Ceet Racing made those for us. They were pretty cool

I don't think I have any. I sold out in 87. I might have some bits and pieces somewhere. I do have A LOT of photos, info I will glady share if the the webmaster doesn't mind? (If you're reading any of this?) Ask any questions, I'll try to answer to the best of my knowledge. I don't claim to be a know it all, but I lived it, worked it, and had a ball doing it. I love talking about it. I started Phase Five when I was 18, and a laid off welder....

    Seats

It was a seat with a piece of foam that laid on the top of the tank, with a cover to fit it also. We made replacement covers as well in stock size and color.

Wow! Amazing how a 18 yr old laid off welder, grew to leave his mark in the 3wheeled history books forever. And the fact that your parts are still highly saught after. I love it. Not because you lived it and helped to create legendary parts, but now you're a member. I don't want to burn you out on questions, but i also have some of your old adds and loved the fabricated aluminum swingarms. So thanks for shedding some light on that. I can't help but wonder, how many of the were sold for Tecates and Tri-z's. And where did they all end up? I realize there was fierce competition at that time, with many upstart companys. But some of the parts are seemingly non existant. Did you manufacturer exhaust systems in house, or have them made to spec. Heck, you even had stage 1,3,5 and 9 "Werks Flo Porting" I also notice in one of you ads that the Tecate and 250R pictured have Westcoast swingarms. Were you a dealer for them as well? Anyhow i love vintage stuff and this is very interesting to me. Thank you, and welcome.
