Factory Atc From The 80's Wanted!

This is very cool.. I was looking threw some old mags last week, and seen some Phase Five ads. I was thinking it would be sweet to come across some of the 200X low pro fenders, a short trac tank, and some stickers.. Man for that matter any of the old school parts would be cool to find just to hang on the wall with the other vintage parts..

Who made the short trac tanks and the fenders for you? If you have any of your old sticker could you keep me in mind? Id be willing to spend the dime to have them reproduced to get them back out in circulation and on trikes..

Welcome too the forum ,glad to see yet another person from back in the day ,that has a brain we can pick and ask question's too.And thank's for the offer ,on feeding us info and scanning old stuff.I'm sure the mod's will have no problem's with you showing us that stuff at all.

As far as those old trike's getting all crushed up,I highly doubt that any were destroyed at all.Some were probably sold to help fund the next racing season and some went into private collection's.I'm sure you'll find out alot of info in you're search ,but I have no doubt you'll find something.

I also had a '85 200X ,back in 1985 that had one of your pipe's on it,I'll have to dig that pic up.You'll find lot's of info on here,and goodluck with your search.

Wow, awesome to see another guy from inside the industry back in the day here. We've already got Mike Coe, Brett Driscoll, and Dean Kirsten from 3wheeling magazine. Great to have you on board. I'm a webmaster/admin for the main site and the forum, and your definitely more then welcome to share whatever pictures and stuff you'd like. Would be awesome to see some of that stuff, especially the way your shop was setup back then, I think that'd be really cool.

I know of scott through the vintage motocross restoration stuff , we are both in the same business. good to see you having interest in the ATC stuff . I do alot of restorations for the Honda collection hall in japan let me ask around with some of those guys and see if i come up with anything . Honda kept alot of there race bikes as they are very proud of there racing history . I bet there is alot of old factory bikes out there . enjoy the site

I don't remember selling too many for the Tecate or the Tri-z. The 250R was the big seller, but I remember none of them sold that well, I remember the pricing on those cal-fab arms was around 300. or so. You could get the Westcoast arms a bit cheaper, and they were great arms as well. I took a tour of both mfg. places that made them. What a day that was. All of our exhaust systems were made out of house. We did porting as well, I remember gettting around 5-10 jugs a week. That would wear you down I remember dealing with the porting. It was time consuming, and everyone was in a hurry....

IMS made the tanks, (international Motorsports), Honda used them as well for the team. The fenders we had made at Maier Mfg. I'll have to check on the old stickers...

I have an old tiger racer that has some PF stickers on it, and has JP Porting, not sure what products it may have had of yours on it, I was thinking maybe a number plate? anyhow, I would be interested in either some old stock stickers or maybe you would consider some reproductions through your company? or would those be considered original PF? lol I've actually got a handful of decals from your company in the past. the fox shock I have is lookin good with its new rezzy decal. any help you can offer would be immensely appreciated! Thanks. HH

Scott, What did you make for the Tri-Z's? There maybe a market for those number plates just on this forum alone. Do you still have any of your jigs for pipes? Mold's for plastic's you created? It sure is a pleasure having you here. I REALLY HOPE THEY STICKY THIS THREAD

Welcome to the boards Scott! It's always good when veterans join. I just sold my full Selvys kit 200R to another member on here so he could restore it. I know, not a true factory ride, but as close as I've come so far. Can't wait to hear some stories from you.
