    reverse kit for ATC200M?

Can you get reverse kits for the ATC 200M? I got an 84.. I think back in the day there were all kinds of aftermarket kits..

I'm guessing all those 200 machines were more or less identical and kits are compatible?

Or, can it be done with the stock tranny or parts from the 84 Big Red (which was the 200es with reverse))..

Actually, I'm not sure if that 84 Big Red was shaft drive or not though.. perhaps a whole back end swap would bolt in?

    Any ideas, thoughts, comments?

    Thanks..

They did actually offer up a reverse kit for the 200E Big Red models but not for the 200M model,I am pretty sure.I had a friend when we were younger that had an '83 BR and he put the kit on,it actually went into the sub-tranny box wher the hi/lo was.You lost the low gear I believe but gained the reverse.I thought it was the kat's arse at the time..I don't have any info on that kit either and this had to have been in 1984 I'm guessing. But I'm about 100% sure you could not get a reverse kit for the M model..

I have a 200m, but the motor in it is out of a 200e. If there where any of those kits around, that would be awsome.

Is the only difference between the 200m and 200e motor the subtranny?

Subtranny is the only difference, and that only gives you low range. High range is the same as the 200m, according to my manual, that is the only difference with the motors.

The company that made the kits was called Paltec in Florida. As a matter of fact i think they were in Palatka FL. They are long gone though I am sure.
