I have finally got a good camera again and had a chance to shoot some updated decent pics. It now has the impecable Mrs Mosh seat on it. It fits the look perfect.

For those of you who wanted to see it rip the strip at Tf this year, well, sorry to dissapoint ya. I went down Thursday for a few practice runs and ended up blowing the head gasket again. The few runs I did get to make were pretty impressive. It's in the process now off getitng the top end pulled back off and getting the head decked. It'll be back up in no time.

    Specs.
-Motor-Stroked, cam'd, 10.25:1 wiseco piston, stock bore, oversized valves, sudco intake, ported, heavy duty valve springs w/ titanuim caps, ???mm Mikuni carb.
-Frame-Stock, powder coat chrome with translucent blue overlay.
-Fenders & tank-custom tank with scoops shaved off, Maier l/c 250R front fender, Reproduction fiberglass S.R.P. low profile race cut rear fenders. Birght white emron paint with clear coat.
-Tires- shaved front, 18 "Armstong turf tamers on rear with mitchell rims.
-Seat- one off Mrs. Mosh custom.
    -ASV levers.
    -Swingarm-Cal-Fab +2
-Rear sprocket-38 tooth solid aluminum circle industries.
    -Axle-Dura-Blue +6
    -Exhaust-Supertrapp.
-Number plate- DC Plastics T-3 white

I hav'nt totalled up the dollars as of yet. I'm really kind of afraid to. I know it's well over the 1k. mark though.

    Sorry to hear that

I was looking forward to seeing her spank some bigger thumpers and pingers

Do you think the compression is just a bit too high?? I wonder if your already buying the oversized (bore wise) head gaskets in addition to stroking and crank mods....

I'd hat to see you have to double up gaskets, although on a 4 poke the base gasket would be fine.

Don't mind me I'm just rambling.

    Still looks awesome though

Very nice trike . Are you using a solid copper head gasket ? Back in the 80s when I raced my 200x that was the only way to go .

    Bapp Solid Copper Head Gasket

Big al's performance products (BAPP) made them back in the day and their is another company sill making them and I'm banging my head against the wall trying to remember the brand . I seen one go on eBay a couple of months ago for redicioulis $$$ . Kinda hard to find but you wont blow another head gasket again and their reusable . I ran a powroll 13.5 to 1 stroker motor back the 80s and it was impossible to use a regular head gasket . Maybe start a new thread asking if someone has one for sale . I know I have one in my pile of parts stash and If I can find another ill let you know . The one I have is for a future build . Here is a pic of a NOS one so you have an idea .

Thanks for the info. I'll keep an eye out. Can't wait to see more of your 200X and read some history about it.

Really nice build there Seadoo. Looks great.

I'd like to nominate this to the Top Tier Build Showcase. I have no idea what the criteria is or who is on the judging comittee but IMO this one should be considered.

Custom parts, old school performance parts and attention to detail.

Get someone with an EDM machine to cut out a tool and die pattern for that gasket

Fantastic looking trike! Really like the white and blue combo. Good luck with the head gasket!
