Yep, this is what I run, minus the factory reed stops. Don't forget to add a drop of blue loctite to your reed screws for peace of mind.

I put an 86 KX250 dog bone on my 85 T3, just needed to use some washers as spacers because the 84/85 dog bones were wider.

I bought one for my 85. I have not put it on yet because on of the bearings is bad.

On the plus side, All Balls makes a linkage bearing kit for the 85/86 KX250/500 27-1106.

I did not buy the kit yet but likely will.

For putting the KX adjustable dogbone on the 85, I'll probably end up using only the spherical bearings and toss the rest of the kit...
Looks like most of the kit will work on the 86 T3 as well.

I see a swap for 86-87 rear master cylinder what can I use for 84-85 rebuild kit? I didn’t see it on the list

Hello guys, anyone of you old timers here? Are tecate's alive in 2021 ? I'm deep into restoring a 1986 one! I would like to ask if the gas tank cap from the 1984-1985 tecate fits the 1986-1987 tecate !
