Just looking over my old build thread here! Holy crap! how time fly's! It's been over four years since this thing was built! Though I don't ride it as much as I used to, It always starts right up on the second or third kick every time!! As always a big thanks to Dirtcrasher for most of the technical, frame gusseting, a lot of powder coating and some engine work. Honda250sx for the all balls kit, edog for the plastics, and some grunt work from my brother.. It's too bad, it sits more than it's ridden. I think that I'm going to have the header ceramic coated. The place that did my frame does that too...

yep...clutch fibers are gonna be crap. clutch springs are gonna be weak. Valve springs are gonna be weak. the list just keeps going.

That's why i hate those adds that say..."ready to run"...uh...no.

My fibers are now 2 years old on a school motor, go figure. I don't baby the beyatch either

I'm going to be looking at ceramic coating my header and mid pipe.. Though Dirtcrasher's high temp powder on the header held up well for a couple of years, it's time to get it re-done..The same company that did the frame(which still looks great) does the ceramic coatings also..

I agree, it does not hold up unless 99% of us are running lean!!

Hold off a bit, I may have another solution. I'm up now or give me a yell tomorrow and I'll tell you...... Or set up a day/time and you can swing by if you like and I'll show you
