    Has Anyone Ever..

Seen or heard of a XR200R motor being put into a newer MX chassis? My 04 is nice but the 125 motor isn't very woods friendly. A hopped up XR200 motor in a late model CR chassis would make for a sweet trail combo. Even with a cam and high comp piston it would have more torque then the 125 hands down.

I had seen a conversion of sorts on craigslist not to long ago. It was an xr250 with cr wheels, brakes, forks, swinger, etc. Everything was cr except for the fram and motor. I was thinking about picking it up but never did.

I agree...a CR250 can be made into whatever you need it be... an XR200 is not an impressive powerplant...

This reminds me of an article I read years ago, and after a little bit of good ol' doctor google i came up with http://dirtbike.off-road.com/dirtbik....jsp?id=264344 unfortunatly the images that were on the article are gone, but im sure some of the details might be of value.

BGM, get yourself a CRF250, or YZ250f, and you will be In HEAVEN, I gaurantee It. As well as you maintain your machine's, you won't have trouble. The little 250's have Plenty of torque, and rev like the old 2 stroke's, with MORE rpm's!!!!
