    CHAINs 86 Z.. updated and finished.. pretty much.

    Well, thought Id post a topic here. As of right now, all metal is the powdercoater, top end is at the shop getting a bore, and the rest is either pictured below.. or on its way.

    This is a pic before the Tear Down!!
    I was gonna go for a straight to stock look, but thought Id spruce it up a little. in 2-3 weeks it should be done. Here is the progress so far..


    Like the nice blaster rims on it for now?? lol

    thats looks real nice it doesnt look like a dg from the pic it looks nicer then that lol i guess dg has come a long way.

    Yeah.. thats DG.. Its not chrome like the pipe.. so Im gonna have to do some polishing on it to make it match.

    That was a nice machine to being with, Good luck with your clean-up, I cant call that a restoration on a bike that nice.

    where did you get the showa stickers from? I got some from ebay that said they were going to be 1 1/2" tall by 5" long. I got them in the mail and they were 1/2" tall and 1 1/2" long. pissed me off.

    Outta Dennis Kirk. I stole the idea from someone else's 86 I saw on here.. so I cant take credit for them.. lol.

    Nah, this is my wifes machine. Now the 85 is my quad killer,... If an R beats me no big deal, as longs as its a trike!! lol
