Why is everybody coming down on him? He's a new member, and might not know anything about three wheeler's. He state's that he doesn't even think it's true. I think everyboby should ease up a bit, just my own opinion.

I'm with you Tapper. If I was getting a new trike the first thing I would be doing is riding it. I def. would'nt be in a hurry to get to the forums after being treated the way he has.

I agree also. These forums pride themselves on kindness and understanding but there are a lot of mean things that are said here, all too often. This thread shows how bad it can get. And for what? No reason at all. I hope this doesn't scare myles away. Great way to welcome a new member guys.

It's obvious that it got a bit out of hand.

Unfortunately, I think quite a few people are disgusted that not one 87 250R or 350X have ever been proved, like Bigfoot.......

Many of us are skeptics at this point, it's no reason to beat him up either. Then again, the post said "pics Saturday"? At least an update would be nice

Honestly, some of you guys have to grow a little skin. I see it time and time again. This board has nothing to do with me wanting a 3wheeler. It's a great resource but it's not my determining factor towards owning a trike.

Yes, he's a new member. And it's very easy to come back on board and say "yep it was an 85 after all" and move on. I honestly don't even know this persons user name in this thread unless I look........

Do I agree with everyone? do they with me? Of course not but I'm not gonna be run off either.

Uh, has anybody noticed that the poor guy hasn't posted in a while? Either you guys scared him off, or he's sitting there laughin his arse off at the he caused!

Anybody that designs something that they say is completely idiot proof, fails to realize the resourcefulness of a complete idiot.

The major difference between a thing that might go wrong and a thing that cannot possibly go wrong is that when a thing that cannot possibly go wrong goes wrong it usually turns out to be impossible to get at and repair.

I agree with you. I know you can't let people you really don't know get under your skin over the internet but some of those guys took it a little to far and since this guy is brand new here it might be enough for him to think he doesn't want to deal with all this and never come back. He could be a person who, in the future, could get some cool parts and make good deals on them to boardies for all we know. I just think a couple of the guys need to reel in the ego's a little bit. That's all. I also understand the frustration about the 87's from the other perspective as well but I'm not going to flame a brand new person because he was mislead by an add and admitted he wasn't sure about it.

One thing we can still look foreward to, is he said he'd give us an update "after the long weekend" so we probably won't see any pics until tomorrow I assume. I just hope he actually found one. I haven't given up hope.

Other smaller or lesser known companies, such as Tiger ATV, Franks, and Cagiva, produced racing three wheelers, but in much smaller numbers. Few of these machines are known to exist today and are highly sought by collectors.

    People are getting too sensitive...

Look down, chance are there should be a set of testicles between your legs... Typically these prevent the period bemoanings that some seem to be plagued by.

Yeah but i don't think that is the issue. I just try to put myself in his shoes. If I was brand new to the site and 3 wheelers and didn't know much about them, and if i started a thread to express my excitement about getting what I thought was a cool trike, and I was treated like that, i might be inclined to say forget this and not come back. I know people are being sarcastic and having fun with it and some are frustrated. But he is brand new. He doesn't know that most likely. I'm just taking that angle to look at it. God knows I've had my fair share of ribbing in the past. lol

I'm willing to go out on a limb and offer my deepest apologies to the gent...

I for one love seeing more of the 350s around.

I wish I knew exactly how many there were out there...

    Sorry guys its an 86

Picked the trike up on Saturday, yes it was actually a 1986, the guy had it posted wrong. First of all, I would like to thank all the people who stuck up for me, and believed me-- the ad said that it was a 1987, so I had no reason not to believe him--- WOW I noticed alot of guys really ripped me a new A-hole, why so bitter?
Do you guys always rip on new members like this? I didn't repond earlier, because I had to drive 3 hours to pick it up, and I stayed at my Dads untill today.

Congrats on the new trike. An 86 350X is still a great trike. You enjoy it.
