Tears for Fears Music Video - Lots of Trike Action!

Not sure if anyone has seen this before but I had some 80's nostalgia music playing and I spied some gems around the 2:00 minute mark. I don't necessarily like this song but what the hey....

So...was that stock footage or did those people get paid to ride trikes for a music video?

Geting paid to ride a trike for a music video = Rulling the World

The best we could hope for anymore to see a trike would be in some hypocritical, masogonistic rap/country video where some nasty trash would be leaving slug tracks all over the seat.

What a cool spot! Hard to believe places like that still exist unmolested. Should have had a trail pro tire on it and used that to crush rocks, lol.

They filmed the trike/dirt bike scenes at Glamis in the Coachella Valley of Southern California. Curt Smith (the guy singing/driving the car) said he slept out in a camper for that part of it, and they had an accident while filming; "one kid flew off and he was out cold. The video producer, an American girl, stood there and chanted some Buddhist stuff." The kid apparently wound up OK. He added that the song went to No. 1 in the US.

Smith added that, "the downside of videos is they're a reminder of all the bad fashion you went through. Our videos are kind of embarrassing but they're an endless source of amusement for my children." The mullets might be dated but the 3wheelers are still looking cool. (I listened to these guys and Big Country back in college.)

    I love that song.

I was in Sasebo Japan when that came out and they were rockin it there. Real cool adventurous time for me.

God they look like old geezers..... I hope I don't look like that.

They look pretty healthy and still capable of being physically active. That's looking pretty good for their age.

Since I've been a younger person, I've seen some older people and thought it'd be nice if I could reach their age and still get around that good and keep waking up to enjoy another day. Funny how the healthier people are, the happier the are too.

I think it was Fog Hat I seen play about five years ago. The lead singer didn't even seem to know where he was.

These guys are older and still jamming out.
