I couldn't stand leaving it in the crate. I would assemble it, break it in and show it. I mean what in the world is the point of having a trike you can't roll??

Andy, I hope you the best in this endeavor, although a bummer to see it leave your protection. Hopefully whoever wins the auction will continue to keep it in the crate. A piece of history for sure.

IDK, Why does it say the bike is used? Is it possible to put together an almost NOS bike and put it into a crate and make $8,000 or so ....??, possibly ! The 86 model does share a few parts with the TRX250R
I would love to hear from an expert like Mike from VMS. Either way , worth $10k-$20k to the right person, esp. with the worldwide shipping.

I just saw the 250r, Im guessing Andy is saying used as a legal action , Honda is very strickt about not letting dealers sell any of there products unassembled in the crate ,although people do all the time , also the liability of selling a "NEW" 3 wheeler. I would not worry about any of that who ever buys this will do what needs to be done with it and preserve it forever . I already put some calls in to 2 of my big player customers they will be game for this bike. wish i had the cash myself but realistically 20k is not out of the question even in these times. he must be sad to see it go but like all things the hunt and purchase is the best part sometimes I thought i would never sell my brand new 87 250sx but there comes a time . good luck Andy !!
I hear there shorty I would ride the heck out of it. Rare or not, I could handle it just being a show piece. Plus the urge would kill me. But I hate to see how much it goes for gonna have to keep a eye one it. My wife would kill me if I even tried to buy it but way to rich for my blood.
Bidding is up to $12,100 and reserve not met?!

if the seller checks in here , you gotta post the page views and watchers for us !
What do people think, $35K for this? There's 9 days left. There has to be some bidders out there who use the logical, last seconds bidding. At $12,600 right now.

no way $35k . I am betting $15K is the magic #
Until the reserve is met by someone, I don't even pay attention or believe the bids .
Love it!!!! Good luck.......what a gem!!!!

Other smaller or lesser known companies, such as Tiger ATV, Franks, and Cagiva, produced racing three wheelers, but in much smaller numbers. Few of these machines are known to exist today and are highly sought by collectors.
