Stud bolts for 84 250r help?

Hey guys my 84 250r has had normal hex bolt and nuts for the rear wheels from the previous owner and just realised once I changed the tires over! Pain in the ass to take off. I want to buy a set and wondering if the 85 or 86 studs would fit straight onto the 84? I have the standard oem 84 rims. Below is a pic from eBay, but I hope my splines aren’t damaged now. Any help or advice would be good. Thanks Ivan

Just get some new hubs, many different hubs fit your axle.
    83-85 200x
    86-87 200x about 1-3/4 longer than 83-85 200x over all length
    300ex
    400ex
    86/87 trx200sx about the same width as 83-85 200x
    250x
    A few others too......

I run aftermarket trx200sx alum hubs on this 83/84 250r axle, from outside of hub to out of other its 33-1/2 long.
If I put 86/87 200x hubs on it would be about 35-1/2 long out to outside of hub

I don’t think it’d be worth messing with replacing studs (just get new) you won’t be throwing tools around the shop this way
Keep your 2- castle nuts for 250r axle though- odd size if I remember correctly

All years 300ex or 400ex hubs are plentiful and cheap on eBay and will give you about 1 3/4” extra width which is a plus .
