the manny says that the pushrod is 1mm longer on the 85 then the 84 so they cant be interchanged. i believe one way of telling is by looking at the grooves in the clutch discs. the 84's all go the same direction and angle, the 85's are at different angles...if this helps. the clutch push rod, clutch release, and clutch springs do not interchange. hope this helps gary.
