heres the video of me and some friends pulling motor number 3 from my mr2, it was a 6,000$ stroker motor with EVERY mod done to it. It lasted 900 miles after I installed it . It put down 296rwhp on a mustang dyno with the 540cc injectors running at 99% duty cycle (maxed out). Didnt get it to the track before it burned up. The stroker crank wasnt machined to the proper tolerances and ended up being the reason it starteed knocking and lost oil pressure. I was about to install some 850CC injectors and a fuel pressure regulator to be controlled by full stand alone engine management system which would have pushed a smooth 400rwhp on 93 pump gas. I have installed 4 motors in this car so far. Heres the video of it being removed, its worth the minute of your time to watch it :D

heres the video of me and Robert installing my new JDM motor, half of it im installing components, wiring , and the LSD trannsmission. Also worth the minute of your time to watch :naughty: Asidefrom installing the axles, coilovers and wheels it was finished. We started on it late and finished around the time the sun came up as you can see in the background over the car. Also, this is in my moms garage not the garage at my house. Shes got alot of junk stacked along the wall as you can see.

I always liked the MR2. I have an 86 Fiero with the v6. Apples to oranges but mid engine design kicks ass. Sucks that she blew up like that.

ya thanks, I just have a tendency to overboost my motors. engine number 1 saw 18 psi on a t4 50trim turbo for a year and finally detonated to death. Engine number 2 saw 30 psi 4 times the first night I drove it and lifted the head/blew the head gasket/detonated the motor to death. Motor number 3 lasted 900 miles and shot sh!t after the dyno tunning. Number 4 is still holding strong 2,000 miles so far at 17psi.

I know people that have done v8 swaps on fieros, apparently they are freaking ridiculous !

Good stuff Jason. When I was younger I had a couple V8 Vega's. One had a built 350 in it. It was scary and I'm fearless.:naughty:
Here is one of Hartley's favorites. Rotory power.
