ATC 70 question...with pics!

I acquired this '82 atc70 last weekend from a friend for free. The recoil was in pieces and it had a few other issues. So after about 12-15 hours of work and some deep cleaning I came out with a pretty decent machine. :w00t:

I noticed it has some pretty stout metal hooks on top of the forks and I have no idea what they are for. My first thoughts were either a headlight or maybe a holder for a front basket or rack. They look clean, like some sort of factory add-on. Thanks for any info!

Very nice 70. I wonder if a basket hung on those 2 hooks. A basket that was made of metal and removable?

looks like the frame might be bent a little too,,,,, you can pull the tank off and straight edge the top of the frame to see how bad.... for free.... great
