Now my 250r isn't the prittiest thing ever, just ask Itrike. But for some reason my rear fender falls off when I go over whoops or when I land hard. What do I need to replace or fix to stop this?
I'm thinking there is only a few things,
1 my front mounts on the frame are bad
2 my rear rubber mounts are bad or
3 my latch is messed up.
Any ideas on where to start?

you need to shim up the rear mounts with washers or rubber grommets. You will most likely notice that the rear of the fenders are sloppy in the up and down movement. I believe this happens from the big rubber grommets wearing out over time.
Another fix is to replace the factory rear seat bracket with something either home made or bought off ebay - that relies on 2 pin that hold the fenders down - rather than the factory release latch. Like this:

I run modified seat latches like Tim posted.
Flyin Brian welds stainless pins to the factory seat latch then uses the quick pins like in that pic.
TRX 250R ones will not work, unless you can re drill the mount holes and secure them to the ATC seat pan.
If ya want to be cheap, I used to just run zip ties down thru factory pins, and wrap them around the frame. The factory latch has slots cut in the guide pins that allow a zip tie to go right thru them and the bushings and around the frame bracket.
That works good.

I knew you guys were awesome!
If I replace the pins with another pin that requires a securing device, I can take off my latch.
Thanks!

I run a fat washer on each side, and the seat pin set up from a TRX on mine.
works like a charm!

I just use thin wall plastic hose (or cheap garden hose works) over the pins, they slide down inside the rear grommets w/ a nice, snug fit
havent lost the rear on my R's since, been many yrs...and cheap!

I just zip tied the latch and hook to hold mine together. It flew off a few times one ride. Hasnt happened since. Its a quick rig, but works in a pinch till you get the parts you need.
