I took a title from 1984 to our court house in Des Moines Iowa today to get a big red in my name. It had been sitting in a barn and had a license plate from 1987 on it. They said they used to drive it in town back in the day. The court house gave me a license plate and registered it in my name for 2009:w00t:
So does that mean I can drive this bad boy in town now? Whats the law saying I cant if its registered and titled.

I'd imagine you need mirrors, horn, signals, brake lights, DOT tires, insurance and all the other goodies.
Unless you live in a cool small town where the don't bust chops :D

I doubt it, my 200S has a license plate and is titled but is not road legal, just gets in the way, was hard to find a place to mount it and keep it visible etc etc.. that's in NB Canada anyways

in texas, dot tires are NOT required if not traveling on the freeways. ;)
we also do not need turn signals as long as you use the arm signals.
only thing you have to have is plate light, brake lights, and hi-low beams and horn.
Exactly right oscar, but some places are strict. Here is a state by state requirements. In most states anyhting with three or less wheels is classified as a motorcycle.
