search for service manuals dammit posted some up
The 2 mounts in the center of that box are your uppr head stay engine mounts. They are marked left and right..They bolt to the top frame rail, then to the cylinder head.
The 2 triangle shaped mounts are the front lower motor mounts that bolt the engine in the frame just below the head pipe.
The U shaped bracket is for the upper chain roller. There is a roller that bolts in there, then attaches to the frame near the rear shock resiovoir.
The black wire guide, bolts on the reed cage for the stator wires.
The long bracket next to the roost boost, is the upper chain guide that bolts near the upper chain roller bracket.
That little red bracket, I have never seen on a R before, and that rusty bracket is an extra head stay bracket.
Throw the roost boost in the garbage..LOL They were a gimmick, that didnt do anything for the bike.
Supposedly, the gave it a hotter spark at the coil..

Thanks mosh
I think I must have something wrong with the airbox it's a 1/2 to 1/4 inchto far back from my carb it came with 2 air boxes and I used the nicer one dont noif they arnt the same and the clutch cable is given me a fit when I put it were it looks like it should go it dont fit. anyone see any thing on wrong let me no thanks

Your clutch cable should route down the front frame tube, then thru that notch in the left radiator gaurd.
Your throttle cable routes behind the right radiator, down the top frame tube, thru the large rubber grommets for the tank. There is notches in those rubber deals for the throttle cable too.
Sometimes that airbox boot shrinks. You can try boiling it in water with a few spoons of Murphy's oil soap. Use some oven mits, pull that boot out of the boiling water (with pliers) and stretch that boot while it is hot with your hands, long ways. Make sure you use oven mits..and only boil it for about 5-10 minutes max.
The airbox can only go in 1 way. So that makes me think the airbox is wrong or that intake boot shrunk.

Went 4 a ride and wow it runs good . The new 18's and forks that work were great. Wish Honda still had the Ball's they had when they made atc 250R. the thing is a hand full to ride. what a rush to ride one second ya think your going to die the next ya think ya got it. :w00t: When I get some more cash I'll do the swingarm paint the motor and a new axle and some gold wheeles are a must.
