Ok I know the '01's had trailpro trannys. At this moment I have a 2002 Cr125 that is in real nice shape. I ride trails ONLY and the 20-sum MPH first gear the 125 has just isn't cutting it. My friend owns a Rappy 660 and was telling me they are a nice quad, and that he's put his through the pases. Four wheels sounds nice for what I ride in (tighter trails, some mud -not deep-, long fire-roads, and some sand pits.) I got my 125 this year and loved the power and aluminum chassis, did get me thinking 'bout something else:lol: I haven't messed with porting the 125, or even piping it (it's all stock) and I'm not interested in modding the bike in any way. I'm just ready for a real nice 4 wheeler that has some guts too pull it around.
So, what are your opinions for the 2002+ Raptor 660's? I already know about the crappy starter one-way, and how they have been known to be "tippy." But overall what kind of quad is it? ;) **ANY OPINIONS ARE WELCOME,,,, ANY!!!** ;)

Also, will a 660 hang with a Yammi YZ250F??? :Bounce

Thanks in advance http://www.thumpertalk.com/forum/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif

i rode a raptor 700 around for about a half hour and wow its well built, it only quit running because the chain broke and hit the case so change those chains out every year, it was an absolute torque monster

They are nice machines. I wouldn't hesitate to get a used one as long as you can tell it's had maintenance done just like any other toy.

How much do you think a nice used 2003 660 would go for?
