ATC ride King river Ruby Lake Alaska

Was a great time, me and my sister headed out! started out with my gas cap seal breaking old brittle rubber.. so i was leaking gas all over the tank most the trip.. did good in the mud.

had a problem with it dying like it was not getting fuel on the way back out though.. will have to check into that.. couldnt get it to stay running once i got it to the truck.. it was after several all out high speed runs too. only had a problem with the last mile of the trip luckily!

Around 28 miles into the woods and another 28 outa the woods took all day seen 3 wonderful lakes and lots of great scenery, ate wild rasberrys also.. man i wish i had brakes some of them hills were hairy!

dude, love the truck, is it a 78 or 79? love the club cabs, but bit too big for me in lil-rody, had to go with the supercab..more manageable at 21 ft!

Some of those pictures remind me of the reasons I wanted to move there in 1970. At that time I had just graduated from college and was trying to talk my wife into moving there. My wife and I headed for Alaska the day after school was out and were gone 10 weeks. Had a pickup and camper. Sad to say I could never get her to move. Great prictures!!!!

78-79 like yours and mine have the ford letters on the hood, not in the grille...I considered a change but the hood repaint at this time would be a pain.

actually im putting the original grill back in cause this is a front clip off a 78, and i like the 75 grill much better.. no rust under lights, and drip rail is good shape... already got brakes on order..
