what oil do i mix in 81 250r?

i have a 81 250r and i was wondering what the best oil i can use is? should i run amsoil 2stroke race oil?? and just to let u guys know it runs on turbo blue so idk if that will make a difference in the ratio of oil i use or what kind i need. let me know what u think. thanks.

i run pj1 goldfire and i love it, but klotz is also awesome and so is bel ray other than that i wouldnt touch anything else, but thats just me oh and i mix at 50:1 with PJ1 and i have had no problems in 2 years straight running it in all 5 of my 2 smokers but that is just me, everybody has their opinion

Amsoil or any of the oils listed above will be fine, the brand is personal pref

Klotz is a good one to go with, my buddy runs R-50 Klotz in his as 24:1 and runs fantastic.

I will go ahead and throw in my two cents.

I am running an aircooled R as well, and am running Yamalube 2r @32:1. Yamalube 2r is a synthetic blend, and is perfectly fine for running even high demand engines. Supposedly it is what team yamaha runs in all there MX bikes.

We have ran it for years in an FL250 and have not had a single problem out of it. Never had to so much as rebuild a topend in the odyssey either.

However do not use the yamalube 2s, it is crappy injector oil.
