ok well i got my 110 running but the gas keeps comming out the overflow hose.. i took the carb apart and its really clean, also took the float out the seat and the float needle.. checked them and they seem to be in good condition, my float is made of plastic though so i see no way of adjusting float height.

any suggestions?

You must still have a problem with the float needle or seat . clean again and look very close as it only takes a micro piece of trash and it will LEAK at the seat . or buy a carb kit .

Float needle may seem alright but mine hardly showed wear and it was junk. You can still bend the plastic float tang the float needle rests on for adjustment. 20 mm or 0.79in. Measure in the closed position with the carb inverted from theupper edge of the float to the body flange of the carb. Good luck

the carb was so spotless inside! I guess the float needle could be bad.. the end of it looked good though.. so did the metal it seats against to seal.. iwill pull a float needle out of another one and try it in this one..

Same thing happened to me when I rebuilt my buddies 110 carb. I had everything clean, put in a new float needle, and it still leaked gas out of the overflow. I guess when I was cleaning I accidentally knocked a piece of something into the hole. Took it all back apart, removed the little piece of trash and good as new. Works great.

Shim the spot were the needle goes in the float with a small piece of aluminum from a beer can.... Had to do that with my BR, same problem with my carb... Fixed it perfect! And its a good excuse to have a beer!
