I have a rear Zinger fender that I am trying to sell on eBay, but the cost of shipping is making that impossible. I have cut the box down so much it literally contours with the plastic and I am still getting hit with $60 in shipping cost. At this point I would be happy to just give it away as long as I do not have to ship it. Does anyone have any ideas?

Are you shipping it usps or ups, fed ex? I have shipped fenders and almost whole bikes a few states a way for an alright amount using ups. Never had complaints about packaging either.
Ship them the same way maire does, in a plastic bag. I have shipped bare a few times also, just make sure they are insured.

I have been trying to us the USPS. The are hitting me on the size.
I thought about wrapping it in some tough bubble wrap I have. But that will nto change the size.

as others said, ship via UPS (usps sucks inless u have small items under 75lbs). bubble wrap them then use shrink wrap aroudn that for extra strength. then ship it via ups NOT usps...

I guess that would be the best bet.

i shipped a 200x low pro for $23 with usps second time it was shipped bare and no issues ... it needs 2" of packaging around it for insurance to cover it if it gets broke

open an account with UPS and use them. Will be atleast $20 cheaper.

That sounds like the way to go.
