Hey on one of the 110's i have it came with some kind of wierd front axle extension, anyone know the history on these? are they factory? is it just for extending the wheelbase?

They are for extending the wheelbase. They are not factory but i think hondaline supplied them and a few aftermarket companies.

I suspect with those on that the front tire throws mud at your face no?

Their called fork extenders . They help in the handling of the trike and work very well , very popular back in the day . I have a few sets of these if anyone needs a pair ? sell them cheap .

i dont know the rest of the 3 wheeler looks like this so i havent ridden it yet!
