question

if a quad or trike is standing up on its grab bar for to long will anything bad happen to it? I ask this because my family and me are gonna visit some relatives and they live about 2 days away. and i want to take the recon and 350x but theyll only fit in the trailor with one standing up and the other on its tires.

shouldnt hurt anything....but just incase it does.......protect the trike!!!!! stand teh recon up :?, no actually i see recons standing up all the time in trailers so i tmust not hurt anything, just make sure you let the oil run back into everything be4 you ride it hard ;)

shouldnt hurt anything, but wrap a towel around the bar and under the plastics, just incase.

I was thinking of draining the oil too.

it wont hurt anything. oil may seep out the crankcase vent so check the level before you ride.

I transport my 185s standing upright all the time. The only problem I've encountered is a small amount of fuel from the carb bowl leaking into the air box. Just make sure the fuel is turned off, and let it sit on all three's for a few minutes with the fuel on before attempting to start it.

I have been storing my trikes standing up for years. I have found no problems. When you stand it up, the fuel in the float bowl will dump out the overflow tube. I turn off the gas and let them idle until they die before standing them up, and have no problems. The 350X, and the 250sx are down because I ride them regularly.
