Well i was riding tonite in some trails behind my friends house....and it was running pretty good....we get to a hill, i slow down and watch/wait for him to get up it (he had to get in front of me.....hehehe)....but anyway we got up the hill and was going to take a break, so i go to push the off switch and nothing.....i flipped it to the other off position...and nothing....so i was thinking what the hell...so i choked it out......my headlight was working....but when i started it up it wasnt working.....what is my problem??? ive checked for d/c (disconnected) wires....and there arent any....

maybe you got some water in your killswitch/light assembly and it shorted it out....and connections in it probrably corroded theyll get that green corrosion so i would take it apart and clean it :?

If they dont work maby a wire got broke. Or maby the coating rubbed off. lol

The kill switch works by grounding out the ignition. When it will not kill the motor, that means a bad connection somewhere. The headlight is another clue, Im pretty sure they share the same ground connection. Using a Ohm Meter, you should have continuity to the frame from the kill switch. You need a wiring diagram, and chase it down.
