I just had my bike proffesionally rebuilt (crank, rod, piston, rings, bearings) Im mixing my gas Premium with a 40:1 ratio w/ Klotz R50 racing oil. I toook my bike to my local track and i started it and immediatley fouled the plug after idling ashort time.(BR9EG) Then all i had to switch o was a BR10EG so i put that in and raced 2 times. Went home cuz it got dark . The next day i started it before i washed it and a little bit after idling it bogged and died. Whats wrong?

Sounds like your running too rich. BTW never let your two stroke idle, your asking for fouled plugs. Does the jetting feel crisp at the bottom, or blubbery? I always tend to jet my bikes lean on the bottom, and rich on top. makes for a crisper throttle response. you get it jetted right, and you'll never have to change the plug again. I ran the same plug in my '03 yz125 for 5 years. good luck.

I've had problems with NGK in two strokes(84' yz 125,84' 250r,76' H1) I went to an Autolite and haven't fouled yet with a 40:1 ratio. Is it smoking alot after its warmed up?Beets

after its warm, it shouldnt smoke at all. your jetting is too rich. could be the main, could be the needle clip. move the needle clip UP one notch to lower the needle into the carb a bit and lean it out. if this doesnt help, put the needle back to what it was before and get the next size leaner main jet.
an idling 2 stroke wont make it foul plugs, assuming you arent just letting it sit there and run all day. when im riding, sometimes my bike will sit and idle for 30 seconds-a minute.
a br10 is cooler than a br9. my 250 has a BR7.....look it up and see what the bike is SUPPOSED to have in it.
I run NGK, no problems

figure out what kind of carb you have. probably a PJ or PWK. now, go to carbparts.com, look it up, and look at the schematics. you will see a breakdown of the carb, and it will show you exactly where the jets are. if you are still clueless, find someone local who does.

Here's a manual for your bike.

you shouldnt need to change the needle. theres a c-clip on the needle, with about 5 slots in it. take the c-clip out of the current slot and move the c-clip UP one notch.
the needle comes out of the slide.
the main jet should have a number stamped in it. simply read that number, and buy the next size lower from that jet. MAKE SURE YOU BUY ORIGINAL JETS meaning, make sure they are Keijin/Mikuni jets, not aftermarket crap. it will make getting it adjusted a nightmare.
if the bike starts easily and doesnt sputter at low RPM, then you dont even need to think about the pilot jet.

No Idea. mess with the clip first, go to main second. if that still doesnt do it, go to the pilot. but every time an adjustment doesnt work, put it back to the way it was before you change something else. and make a note of ALL the adjustments before you change anything, that way if you FUBAR, you can go back to the way it was.
