Gopher Dunes

Just thought I'd let everybody know that there is a very very small group headed to Gopher Dunes tomorrow morning (Sunday, Sept. 6) if anybody wants to join us. I know it's short notice, but the weather is suppose to be awesome! I have never rode there so I can't tell you what its like. It's always a good time when we get together. Just look for a black '85 r and a white '86 x, I think that we will be the only ones on trikes ;)

We had a blast, Not a lot of trails but they were fast ones, Even a big track to play on..... or in... right tapper:lol: :lol: :lol: .

Yes, the track was nice and soft for landing, :lol: There is always a next ride we can hook up on Scott, ;) Next time I'll try and give a little more notice

Here's a couple videos from the ride at Gopher dunes, Tapper and I got a fair bit of attention rolling in with a couple trikes. Turns out the owner is an old time trike guy that used to race at the local fair circuit with my brother and a bunch of guys I knew.

Took a run around the big track when it was empty, talk about power sucking sand, deep, moist,fluffy sand, Paddles would have worked way better to bite in.

Awesome job Ross! I never thought of myself as an "old guy" :lol: , but my shoulder is still sore from the nice fluffy sand, :lol: I guess I am getting up there, :lol:

I'll tell ya what that MX track had 600X written all over it,I can only imagine the speed I could get on some of those run's and then to hit that Table top,Whew!! ThanX for posting the vid's Ross..

It's about 45 mins from London. Get that 600x fixed up and bring her down for a test run :naughty: The big table top is only a meer 75' long or was it 85' and two bikes were clearing it easily that day :eek:. You have to be careful though, that track doesn't like three wheelers to much, it flipped mine upside down! :lol: ( I think Ross has a picture of it, but he's being nice to me and not posting it :lol: )
