View Full Version : They got me, stole one of my ATC110's in Pennsylvania
Well, it wasn't really my trike but my buddy's (we shared it). 1984 Honda ATC110. Had some issues and I thought it really wasn't worth stealing, broken off front fender, no headlight or tail light, balding weather checked front tire, black duct taped seat etc etc etc. I was acquiring spare parts for it to completely rebuild it to a nicer condition. If anybody near Philadelphia knows of a newly acquired 1984 ATC110 this may be it. There are a lot of things I can identify on it since I have so many hours into it. It's really sad, I never thought it would happen to me. The local authorities have been notified. I went out looking for it today. Sorry, just had to vent. I think I have pictures and a video somewhere.

I had a guy that bought a bunch of Hodaka parts from me on ebay and some off ebay for a bike he was restoring. Right after he got all the parts some one stole the bike out of his garage. He reported it but they told him it was gone. He then found one dective with a soft spot for old bikes and that guy took the case. The bike was recovered a few days later. Some kids stole it and started trying to buy parts at some local salvage yards for it. Try to find some one at the police station that might care if you get it back, and it will help alot.
Theives suck, no matter if they are bankers or trike theives.

Sucks man, I will keep my eyes and ears open, but if I were you I would start checking trails anywhere around the area, get a few guys together and just go scouting.

bump. to hopefully alert more people, that sucks!
The day I noticed it missing I hit the local trails. Took out the big kawasaki diesel mule so I could bring a buddy and went to the local spots around me. I also drove around the local neighborhoods to scout. Really really really pisses me off. I even went as far as comparing tire tracks at the trails. May seem sad but I've been down on my luck lately (severe carpal tunnel syndrome in both hands requiring surgery which hasn't helped, both of my cars getting struck by lightning, etc. etc. etc.). All things will get better I hope. At least I have a job waiting for me if I can ever go back to work.
Here is a video its in, its the one with the broken front fender and no lid on the back storage box. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4qj-nZ4vuQ8
try tricken their dumb trailprotrailprotrailprotrailprotrailpro by putting an ad in craigslist ''wanted honda 110 parts machines willing to pay top dollar in cash for running or not'' and see if that works.
Thats a great idea I think I'm going to try that, thanks.

well good luck in finding it,, I would still make it a point to keep going out and checking, the may have just put it away for a few days before they take it out and play. When I did towing there was quite a few times where I towed recovered quads and trikes that were stolen and stashed and then ridden on the local trails. Even recovered one that was stolen two years prior when it was brand new, and was actually still in good condition.
